United Way of Broward County’s Women’s Leadership Council announces Elizabeth Cambareri the group’s incoming chair and Anna White the incoming vice chair. Both women bring a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm and diverse experience to the Women’s Leadership Council Steering Committee and will begin their one-year tenure this month.
“Women’s Leadership Council is committed to further the invaluable work of United Way of Broward County. This year, we have pledged our support of two critical initiatives: to support military families as they re-acclimate to civilian life and youth success through early learning programs,” stated Elizabeth Cambareri. “I am proud to be associated with this dynamic group of volunteers and it’s an honor and privilege to serve as chair as the Women’s Leadership Council this coming year.”
Elizabeth has played an active role in the community and has been a dedicated United Way of Broward County supporter for more than nine years. She joined J.P. Morgan Private Bank in 2011 as a Vice President and has more than 18 years of industry experience. Anna has been an active member of the Women’s Leadership Council for three years and currently works as Regional Director for Manpower.
The Women’s Leadership Council was established in 2010 to mobilize United Way of Broward County’s women leadership donors. Together, the 400 women who currently contribute $1,000 or more annually to United Way of Broward County account for more than $1 million of the total contributions raised through the organization’s annual workplace campaign.
Gale Butler of AutoNation and Lori Chevy of Bank of America have acted as the Women’s Leadership Council Steering Committee co-chairs since the spring of 2010. Both Gale and Lori will remain active Steering Committee members over the next year.
