FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – (April 15, 2011) – United Way of Broward County is pleased to welcome Chuck Laetsch to its board of directors. As a partner at Crowe Horwath LLP, Chuck has more than 27 years of experience providing tax services to financial institutions.
“Joining United Way of Broward County’s board of directors is a great honor and I look forward to helping make Broward County a stronger and healthier community,” said Chuck.
Chuck has authored numerous articles on financial institution taxation for trade publications and has been a frequent speaker at national, state and local industry seminars. He has also served as an instructor for several years in Crowe Horwath LLP’s continuing professional education program.
“Chuck will provide great value with his extensive accounting background and will offer a unique perspective and insight to our diverse board,” said Lynne Wines, United Way of Broward County Board of Directors Chair and Community Activist.
Chuck earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Accounting at Indiana University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), AICPA Financial Services Industry Taxation Committee past member, as well as a member of Florida, Tennessee and Kentucky CPA Societies.
