United Way of Broward County Welcomes Kate Goldman, Director of Strategic Partnerships

United Way of Broward County is proud to announce Kate Goldman as its new Director of Strategic Partnerships. In this role, Goldman will work to strategically develop new business for United Way of Broward County’s Workplace Giving Campaign, as well as grow existing relationships with the organization’s corporate partners. Goldman will also lead United Way of Broward County’s Women’s Leadership Council, a group formed for women donors to become powerful philanthropists and community leaders.

"We are thrilled to have Kate on staff as our new Director of Strategic Partnerships, she has a great love for our community and is a perfect fit with our organization," said Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson, Ph.D. "She has the knowledge, enthusiasm and expertise needed to help us seek out new business and strengthen our workplace campaign. Kate joining our development team will create a synergy to ensure an even greater campaign season."

As part of the development team, Goldman will create, build and sustain relationships in the community to develop and cultivate new revenue sources for United Way of Broward County. She will also connect local businesses to the community’s needs through United Way, which will form mutually beneficial relationships.

Goldman comes to United Way of Broward County with more than 15 years of experience in project management, event planning, marketing and community relations. Prior to joining United Way, Goldman worked as Director, Corporate Community Relations for Mahoney & Associates, a South Florida compensation and benefits consulting firm. Goldman earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University, majoring in Political Science.
