Florida Panthers Opening Night Benefiting United Way of Broward County

United Way of Broward County benefits from select group ticket sales of the Florida Panthers opening night home game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the BankAtlantic Center. United Way of Broward County will receive $10 for each lower level ticket and $5 from each upper level ticket purchased through the Panthers’ group sales department and Group Sales Director Mackie Feierstein.

The BankAtlantic Center will also air a United Way of Broward County PSA during the game and help promote the organization’s text to give mobile donation channel. Those who cannot attend the game but would like to make a donation can text UNITED to 50555 to give $10* to support United Way of Broward County.

Ticket sales donations will benefit United Way of Broward County’s Community Investment Fund, which focuses on the three targeted Community Impact areas of Education, Income and Health, including programs focusing on substance abuse prevention and treatment through United Way of Broward County’s Commission on Substance Abuse.
