United Way of Broward County, in collaboration with community partners, is proud to announce that this year the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) program providing free tax assistance to low-income families through United Way’s Mobile Resource Center, has refunded a total of $519,305 to the Broward County community. The total is a 17% increase from last year.

Our kids need to hear clear and consistent messages about substance abuse to help them make good choices when they find themselves having to make the decision of whether or not use. This is National Prevention Week. There has never been a better time to emphasize the critical role of parents, caregivers, educators, community leaders and other role models in helping to shape these decisions for all youth. Working together, we can prevent substance abuse by being involved in our children’s lives, engaging in continuous dialogue from an early age and being aware.

Holman Automotive Raises Funds for United Way Through Tent Sale
