United Way of Broward County, the Community Foundation of Broward and the Jewish Community Foundation join forces to host the 10th Annual Joint Tax and Estate Planning Seminar and Breakfast on Tuesday, November 2 at Nova Southeastern University’s Rose and Alfred Miniaci Theater from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Seminar will provide a meaningful educational forum for professionals involved in estate and trust services, as well as introduce them to the three major non-profit organizations in Broward County.

Empowering Effective Teachers Task Force Hosts Education Town Hall

More than 200 United Way of Broward County supporters kicked-off its annual giving campaign with a pep-rally themed breakfast and Employee Campaign Manager Workshop on August 25 at Signature Grand. The event served as an opportunity for United Way of Broward County corporate supporters, leadership donors, volunteers and community leaders to learn about the main focus for this year’s campaign. Last year, United Way of Broward County exceeded its revenue goal by 10% and plans to raise more than $13 million this year for those in need in Broward County.
