Stephen Keller received the 2008-09 United Way of Broward County Tocqueville Society Award for his outstanding philanthropic leadership when honored at a private reception hosted by members. Mr. Keller was a lifelong advocate of United Way and a member of UWBC's Tocqueville Society for twenty years.  He strongly supported UWBC's work in the community and continued to honor UWBC after his death in July 2009, by leaving a Legacy Gift an action through which donors name UWBC as a beneficiary in their wills.  Mr Keller's dedication to Broward County sets an example for everyone in our community.

The Tocqueville Society Award is given annually to the individual who shows outstanding commitment to the community through volunteerism, leadership and exceptional financial support of UWBC and the Tocqueville Society.
