The Women’s Leadership Council was formed to mobilize United Way of Broward County’s women donors to become powerful philanthropists and community leaders. As a Leadership Donor ($1,000 donation or more annually), women are invited to join and participate in the Women’s Leadership Council.
The goal of the Women’s Leadership Council is to educate women about the opportunities for philanthropic involvement and civic leadership through their own fundraising, advocacy and volunteering; and to engage more women in United Way’s community transforming work.
This year one of the ways WLC will help our community is by reaching out to women veterans and active military in Broward County to help them receive much needed services.
