About the Event

United Way of Broward County presents Faded Conversations. Bringing black mental health to the forefront. 

Historically, communities of color experience unique and considerable challenges in accessing mental health services and cultural stigma is an additional barrier in addressing mental health challenges. This documentary hopes to share the stories of black men as they navigate life and seek support to live a life of overall wellness. 

Following the documentary we will have a panel discussion about mental health among Black/African Americans and how to address the stigma.
