About the Event
United Way of Broward County, with the support of the Humana Foundation, is providing free trainings to Broward County medical and behavioral health professionals.
SBIRT is a national best practice screening model that assists the provider community in identifying patients/clients who may have substance abuse issues and/or behavioral health concerns (e.g. depression, anxiety and stress). Screenings are brief, easy to use and help identify at risk adults who may need additional intervention, referral and treatment.
Attendees will receive free access to the online screening tool until December 31, 2018. Lunch will be provided. 6 CEU's through South Florida Wellness Network, an approved Florida Certification Board Provider.
