Let's Talk About the Pressures Facing Today's Youth

Vaping, Alcohol, Cyberbullying, Social Media, Academic Stress, Anxiety & Depression

 

Hosted by United Way of Broward County Commission on Behavioral Health & Drug Prevention, the City of Pompano Beach, Broward Behavioral Health Coalition, Broward County Public Schools, Florida Children's Theatre and the Florida Department of Children and Families.

A panel of experts and community members will discuss the topic of family wellness, communication and the pressures facing today's youth.  Pompano Beach Mayor Rex Hardin will provide the opening remarks.

This event is FREE and open to the public including students, teachers, parents, grandparents and the rest of the community. Information will be provided in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Creole.

Guests are encouraged to attend early so they can enjoy food, community resource vendors, raffles and prizes.
