Town Hall Meeting

Join us for a Town Hall Meeting entitled “Guiding Our Families & School Age Children Through Stress, Anxiety and Depression” in Pompano Beach.

Hosted by United Way of Broward County Commission on Behavioral Health & Drug Prevention, the City of Pompano Beach, Broward Behavioral Health Coalition, the School Board of Broward County and the Florida Department of Children and Families.

A panel of experts and community members will discuss the topic of family wellness, stress, anxiety and depression. Pompano Beach Mayor Rex Hardin will make opening remarks and the moderator will be Program Director for Florida Initiative for Suicide Prevention Joel Smith.

Details:

This event is FREE and open to the public including students, teachers, parents, grandparents and the rest of the community. Information will be provided in English, Spanish and Creole.

Guests are encouraged to attend early so they can enjoy food, community resource vendors, raffles and prizes.
