WHAT?
Join us for an exciting FREE 2-day leadership event!
We’ll connect with students like you as we discuss mental health promotion, public speaking, youth advocacy and substance use prevention. This 2-part event will feature special guests, several peer-to-peer sessions, prizes and more!
WHO:
Current 7th graders to graduating high school seniors
Any middle or high school aged youth for the 2023 to 2024 can receive community service hours
WHEN & WHERE:
Day 1: Tuesday 6/13/2023 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM | Virtually on zoom
Day 2: Thursday 6/15/2023 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM | in-person (food included)

Arrival time at NSU 10:45AM for registration and free t-shirt to wear for the day. Plus receive a FREE confidence bag of giveaways, food and prizes at the end of the day.
REGISTRATION:
There are two separate links for YLI this year. Be sure to click BOTH registration links, separate one for part 1 and then part 2 in-person parent signature online form. Pre-registration is required for both days.
You must Register In Advance to receive information about joining the webinar for DAY 1 - 6/13.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Day 2 - Highlights include keynote interactive speaker The Self Esteem Doctor and public speaking workshop where you will discover how to authentically connect with others when presenting through a series of fun & proven techniques. Part 2 Limited Space! Registration is first-come.

Broward County high school students, community service hours will be given by:
- Accessing the virtual discussion through the Zoom link sent to their email upon registering and
- Attending the discussion for the entire time
