The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction. Ballroom doors open at 7:00 p.m. for the program which includes dinner and dancing.
Last held in 2010, this year’s event will take on a new format, recognizing the mayors of Broward County’s 31 cities and the county. All proceeds from the event will go directly to United Way of Broward County’s community initiatives and services for those in need.
“We are very excited for the return of the Mayors’ Gala and for the opportunity to honor our local leaders,” said Kathleen Cannon, president & CEO of United Way of Broward County. “What makes the event even more special is bringing together government leaders, community advocates and business leaders to raise funds to build a better Broward.”
