Local Community and Corporate Partners Take Part in United Way of Broward County’s Give a Gift of Hope Program

December 23, 2013

United Way of Broward County’s Give a Gift of Hope program is designed to identify individuals and families that are working diligently with the organization’s funded partners to get back on their feet. United Way matches the families with companies that have the resources and philanthropic interest to provide items that the family would otherwise go without. Through strong relationships with United Way’s community and corporate partners, the organization is able to support to those in Broward County who are looking for a hand up instead of a hand out. The program allows United Way to invest dollars and in-kind donations back into the community year-round, but especially during the holiday season when the need in Broward County is even higher than usual.

United Way of Broward County would like to thank its corporate partners who took part in this year’s Give a Gift of Hope program, whose contributions put smiles on the faces of some of the Broward County residents who needed it the most.
