Donor Surprised with New Audi A3 in Annual Holman Automotive Car Giveaway

June 8, 2015

On Friday, June 5th 2015, local Margate resident and United Way of Broward County donor Roy “Blake” Hannah was surprised with a brand new 2015 Audi A3 thanks to United Way of Broward County.  For more than 15 years, United Way of Broward County has given a new car to one lucky donor thanks to the generosity of the Holman Automotive Group. Hannah’s name was entered into a 2015 Audi A3 giveaway with thousands of other entries from more than 200 South Florida companies who give to United Way of Broward County. Throughout the year, Broward County residents who donated a minimum of $260 (only $5 per week) to United Way of Broward County were entered into a drawing of over 10,000 entrants. Hannah, who is employed by AT&T as a Facilities Manager, has participated in the Workplace Campaign from United Way of Broward County for the last 19 years.

“We are happy to be able to present Blake with a 2015 Audi A3 as a way of thanking him for his support of United Way,” said Kathleen Cannon, President & CEO of United Way of Broward County. “Blake represents the amazing generosity that we receive from Broward County residents through the Workplace Campaign every year. Without support from the community like this we would not be able to help so many people.”

Holman Automotive Group has been involved with United Way for more than 60 years. Since 1999, we have donated a new car to be given to a lucky donor. In addition, our employees participate in other United Way ventures throughout the year. We are proud to partner with such a great organization as United Way of Broward County,” said Glenn Gardner, COO of Retail Operations for Holman Automotive Group.
