FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – (April 25, 2011) – United Way of Broward County launches its dramatically redesigned website at www.unitedwaybroward.org. The new site will give United Way partners, funded agencies, community members, donors and volunteers easier access to information through its enhanced capabilities. Revamped tools include improved navigation, online fundraising, event registration, photo and video galleries, social media outlets and a blog.
“Our new website represents the latest trends in online networking and communications,” said Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson, Ph.D., President & CEO of United Way of Broward County. “We want to provide an easy to use platform for our donors and partners to find important information. Whether making a donation or looking for budget planning tools, our website is a great place for information and resources.”
The website will serve as a portal to all information communicated by United Way of Broward County to the public. Visitors will receive the timeliest news from the homepage, covering the most recent Community Impact Initiatives, as well as special event information, workplace campaign updates, volunteer opportunities and sources people can turn to for help.
The new website will also enable United Way of Broward County to give even more assistance to its funded partner agencies. The organizations will have access to current Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Application (RFA) guidelines, United Way’s Community Impact Partner brand standards, and will be able to post funded partner agency job openings on the new website as well.
