United Way of Broward County

(Screening, Brief Intervention & Referral to Treatment)

SBIRT is a national best practice screening model that assists the provider community in identifying patients/clients who may have substance abuse issues and/or behavioral health concerns (e.g. depression, anxiety and stress). Screenings are brief, easy to use, and help identify at risk adults who may need additional intervention, referral and treatment. Initial screenings are covered by private insurance and Medicaid.
