GENERAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Make a difference in Broward County by volunteering with United Way Broward. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups to give their time and talents in support of our community.

Volunteer opportunities range from packing and distribution projects for signature initiatives like Backpack Broward and Operation Turkey Dinner to emergency food distributions, special events and other hands-on projects that respond to needs across Broward County. Opportunities vary throughout the year based on current needs and upcoming events, providing meaningful ways to get involved and make an impact.

VOLUNTEERS FOR DISASTER RESPONSE

Following a hurricane or other natural disasters, our community needs your help. We are searching for dedicated volunteers (must be 18+ and able to lift 25 lbs. or more) who would be activated in times of need. Whether it is distributing supplies or serving a warm meal to a family in need, become a disaster volunteer (Hurricane Hero) by completing the form below.

United Way Broward is the official volunteer and donations arm of Broward County’s Office of Emergency Management. VOLUNTEERS FOR GULFSTREAM FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS

Help make sure families in our community have access to fresh, nutritious food. United Way Broward hosts and supports food distributions throughout Broward County, and we are looking for dedicated volunteers to help pack, organize and distribute food to individuals and families in need.
