It is our pleasure to honor Nova Southeastern University Chancellor Ray Ferrero, Jr. as the 2015 recipients of the prestigious Tocqueville Society Award. Chancellor Ferrero's commitment to volunteerism, creativity in approach to serving the Broward community, outstanding leadership, long term financial commitment, and encouragement to others to get involved, exemplify the qualities of a Tocqueville Society Award recipient.


Chancellor Ferrero and his wife Raquel have been committed donors to United Way of Broward County for more than 20 years, and are true champions for Broward County. Chancellor Ferrero has been a great advocate for United Way and has held many leadership positions, including his most recent commitment to MISSION UNITED, where he serves on the Executive Committee.

The Tocqueville Society Award is given annually to the individual/couple who shows outstanding commitment to the community through volunteerism, leadership and exceptional financial support of United Way of Broward County and the Tocqueville Society.
