Volunteers

Volunteering is a great way to connect with your community and see, first-hand the good work your United Way is doing in Broward County.  Everyday ordinary people are accomplishing extraordinary things by giving back. United Way of Broward County can help find volunteer opportunities that fit your interests, skills and schedule.  Some volunteer opportunities include:

·         Determining United Way investments through the allocations committee

·         Volunteering at Day of Caring or many other community projects

·         Indentifying new sponsors and corporate campaign partners on the development committee

·         Bringing in sponsors or assisting with event planning on the special events committee

·         Joining an affinity group – Tocqueville Society, Leadership, Women’s Leadership Counsel, Young Leaders Society

·         Advocating for policy change on an important issue

There are many ways you can lend a hand.  By donating your time you can have a profound impact on the success of United Way of Broward County's mission to focus and unite our entire community to create significant lasting change in the community impact areas of education, income and health – the building blocks for a better life – which positively impacts people’s lives.
