United Way Broward's Coalition on Behavioral Health and Drug Prevention is proud to present the 3rd Annual South Florida Addiction Prevention and Solutions Summit, a regional gathering focused on advancing the strategies, collaborations, and solutions needed to prevent substance misuse and save lives across our community.

This year we are honored to welcome Kevin A. Sabet, PhD as our keynote speaker. Dr. Sabet is an internationally recognized expert on drug policy, an advisor to three U.S. presidential administrations, President and CEO of the Foundation for Drug Policy Solutions and SAM, and a widely published author whose work has appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and Newsweek. With more than 25 years of experience studying and shaping drug policy, his insights will help guide a deeper understanding of the rising cost of preventable overdoses and the critical need for innovative prevention strategies.

The Summit will bring together professionals, community leaders, service providers, educators, and advocates for a comprehensive look at emerging trends, effective responses, and collaborative opportunities that strengthen prevention efforts in South Florida. Attendees will engage in meaningful discussions, gain access to the latest research and data, and explore promising practices that support healthier, safer communities.

This event includes program sessions, lunch, and self-parking.

Topics for This Year’s Summit Include:
• Data sharing systems and how they support coordinated care
• Evidence based responses to substance misuse
• Novel and promising strategies shaping the future of prevention
• Prevention approaches that address current challenges and trends
• The importance of building strong and positive private partnerships

Join us as we connect, learn, and work together to prevent addiction and create sustainable solutions for our region.
