Deloitte Volunteers Take Action for Our Environment

Nearly 100 incredible Deloitte volunteers came together for Volunteer Day — a powerful day of service focused on environmental impact. They helped clean up Fort Lauderdale Beach and Birch State Park, making a difference to our local environment. United Way of Broward County was proud to join Deloitte’e employees in this meaningful effort.

Koze Sou Sante Mantal: Strengthening Community Wellness

Join us for the 2nd Annual Koze Sou Sante Mantal Symposium on Saturday, July 26 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Pompano Cultural Arts Center. This free, Creole-speaking event focuses on breaking stigmas around mental health and substance use while connecting attendees with trusted resources, local leaders, and culturally relevant support. 

YLI 2025: Leadership Today and for the Future

United Way of Broward County’s Broward Youth Coalition hosted its annual two-day Youth Leadership Institute for middle and high school students. Day 1 was held virtually with games, mindfulness, and a message from Stichciz, a dynamic youth advocate and iHeartMedia’s 103.5 Beat radio personality. Day 2 brought students together in person for a high-impact day featuring Emmy-nominated singer/songwriter Alexander Star and transformative speaker Renee Hope Cooper.

Backpack Drive for Veteran Families

Backpack Broward is a drive-thru distribution event hosted by United Way of Broward County’s MISSION UNITED to provide backpacks and school supplies to children in Veteran, Active Military, National Guard, and Reserve families — ensuring they start the school year confident and prepared.
