Day One: Fort Lauderdale Beach Sweep

Date: Saturday, March 14, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

(Intersection of Las Olas & A1A)

Join us as we kick off the week with a community beach clean-up in Fort Lauderdale.

No registration required — just show up anytime between 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

Be sure to join us from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM for a chance to receive special prizes and lucky t-shirt giveaways.

Important Details:

  • Attendees must be at least 8 years old. Parents welcome.

  • Wear appropriate attire (t-shirts and shorts are acceptable).

  • Wear closed-toe shoes (no flip flops).

  • Bring a hat, sunscreen, and water.

  • High school students receive community service hours.

This event is run by The City of Fort Lauderdale. In partnership with the Tobacco Free Partnership, the Tobacco Prevention Program at the Florida Department of Health in Broward County, and SWAT (Students Working Against Tobacco).


Day Two: ASB Born Learning STEAM Trail

Day Three: Youth Justice Day

Collaboration with Broward Youth Coalition (BYC), Project Empower, and Urban League of Broward County

Theme: Healing Through Empowerment: Building Resilience

For 6th to 12th graders and a track for parents.
Lunch included.

Join the Urban League of Broward County as we bring law enforcement, youth, and the community together to address safety concerns, crime prevention, knowing your rights, and social responsibility.

Day Four: “Behind the Screen - Internet Safety Sociadrama” – An Interactive High-Impact sociodrama addressing real risks youth face online and on their phones.
