Exploring the Impact of Trauma in Helping Professions and the Importance of Building Sustainable Resilience

Helping professionals dedicate their careers to supporting others, but ongoing exposure to trauma can take a toll on their own well-being. United Way Broward invites you to Beyond Self-Care: Watering the Well, an interactive virtual workshop designed to explore the impact of trauma on those in helping roles and provide sustainable strategies for building resilience.

Participants will learn how repeated exposure to trauma can contribute to compassion fatigue, secondary traumatic stress, and burnout while gaining practical tools to establish healthy boundaries, maintain personal well-being, and support long-term professional effectiveness.
