This workshop defines and describes the impact of trauma. This training includes an introduction to becoming trauma and gender responsive. This is applicable to all staff, including support staff, in an agency/program. 3 hours
As a result of this training participants will be able to:
- Define trauma
- Describe the impact of trauma
- Understand the importance of the Adverse Childhood Experiences study
- Apply the 5 basic values of trauma-responsive care
