Mark your calendar! Our United Way’s most exciting event of the year is Saturday, April 27th, 2024 — the annual Mayors’ Gala.

Over 900 business leaders, elected officials, philanthropists and trailblazers are all in one fabulous venue to celebrate our united power in Broward County — it’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to mix, mingle, have fun and support our amazing community at the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino.

This year’s theme for the Mayors’ Gala is Illuminating Possibilities, and it reflects the incredible impact our United Way is making to millions of people and their families at every age and every stage of life.

United, we have improved lives, instilled hope and helped people in our community — from infancy to advanced age — to access the resources they need to navigate through the cycles and various challenges of life so they can live their best lives.

Wherever there is a need in our community, our United Way is ALWAYS there. For nearly 85 years, we have focused on building a healthier, better Broward County — both now and for future generations.

Our in-house initiatives and more than 130 partner programs have helped create affordable housing, promoted physical and mental well-being, created access to healthy food, provided employment assistance, supported literacy for young children and so much more.

This year’s Mayors’ Gala is a celebration of what our collective power is delivering to people across the entire spectrum of life — from newborns to seniors and every age and every stage of life in between.
