Volunteer Opportunity: Food Distribution
.jpg)
Join United Way Broward and our affinity groups — Leaders United, Women United, and NextGen United — as we come together to support families in our community through a food distribution event.
Volunteers will play an essential role in helping organize, package, and distribute food to individuals and families in need. Whether you can stay for one shift or the entire day, your time and energy will make a meaningful difference for our neighbors.
Volunteer Shifts
Three volunteer shifts are available throughout the day. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for one shift or multiple shifts if they would like to stay longer.
Shift 1: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Help set up tables and tents, prepare the space, and begin packaging food for distribution.
Shift 2: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Assist with packaging food into bags to prepare for distribution.
Shift 3: 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Help distribute food through drive-thru and walk-up areas and assist with cleanup of tables and tents.
Registration
Please register for your volunteer shift in advance.
If you plan to stay the entire day, please register for each shift individually.
