NextGen United is taking over United Way Broward’s monthly food distribution in Hallandale Beach on Friday, August 28, and we are inviting young professionals across Broward County to serve alongside us.
Volunteers will help set up the outdoor market, bag groceries, and distribute fresh produce and pantry staples to at least 200 local families. Three flexible shifts are available throughout the day, so participants can volunteer for one shift or join us for the full event.
While this is a NextGen United takeover, you do not need to be a current member to participate. We welcome prospective members and other community-minded young professionals who want to connect, give back, and demonstrate the impact the next generation of leaders is already making in Broward County.
Volunteer shifts:
11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. | Setup and unloading
1:00–3:00 p.m. | Grocery bagging
3:30–5:30 p.m. | Distribution and teardown
