United Way Broward hosted an Emergency Food Distribution this week to support individuals and families impacted by the ongoing government shutdown.

With many households facing weeks without a paycheck, this effort provided immediate relief through the support of dedicated volunteers and community partners. Together, we served 500 households and distributed $300 in food cards, helping people access essential groceries when they need it most.

Thank you to all the volunteers and donors who help ensure our community has the support it needs during this critical time.

The work does not stop here. Get involved in upcoming volunteer opportunities.
