Alternative Spring Break (ASB)
United Way's Broward Youth Coalition's annual Alternative Spring Break (ASB) offers five days of meaningful service across Broward County. The week begins with a Fort Lauderdale Beach Clean-Up, followed by the ASB Born Learning STEAM Trail in Miramar, Youth Justice Day focusing on healing and empowerment through “What’s Eating Alex?”, an interactive sociodrama on bullying at NSU, and a BYC team-building day at Tigertail Ropes Course.
Some events are family-friendly, others are student-focused, and registration is required for select days.
