Carla had both her legs amputated below the knee, 4 years ago. After spending years in a rehabilitation center she was released and able to get around on her own.
However, she was unable to work and the disability check that she receives is not enough to sustain housing. Carla used to work as a hospice nurse. Carla has an infection smile and wishes more than anything to feel clean again.
