United Way of Broward County’s Commission on Behavioral Health & Drug Prevention, The City of Pompano Beach and the School Board of Broward County have joined together to host the 5th annual Pompano Beach Town Hall Meeting for youth and families.
The Town Hall Meeting is titled, “Celebrate the Positive in our Community…Kids Making Healthy Choices”. A panel of mental wellness experts and community members will discuss various topics from substance use prevention, positive coping skills for managing stress and anxiety, healthy choices, etc. The event is free and open to the public. Students, parents, grandparents, teachers and school administrators all welcome. The School Board will be providing translation services for the presentation in English, Spanish, Creole and Portuguese.
There will be light refreshments, prizes and community resource vendors.
Broward High School students can earn service hours!
