Throughout the government shutdown, United Ways around the country have been providing a range of services to federal workers and others, including financial assistance, counseling, and emergency support for food, rent, and other immediate needs. As the shutdown continues, we’re here to support you. Check back here often for new resources and updates.
Food Assistance
Access participating food pantries through United Way Broward’s Project Lifeline: UnitedWayBroward.org/Project-Lifeline.
United Way Broward’s Project Lifeline, is committed to providing immediate support to individuals and families facing hardship. This program offers food, hygiene items, and other essential resources to community members who need them most. By partnering with volunteers, local organizations, and community members, Project Lifeline ensures that help reaches those impacted by emergencies, unexpected financial challenges, or other crises.

An initiative supporting veterans and their families with navigation to employment services, education, legal aid, health care, affordable housing, and other resources.
