United Way Broward’s Broward Suicide Prevention Coalition invites you to Creating a Suicide Safer Broward County Through Hope, Resilience, and Resources, a town hall focused on mobilizing people to increase suicide prevention, mental health awareness, and access to support. The event will take place on Saturday, October 24, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Hazelle P. Rogers Multipurpose Center in Lauderdale Lakes.
Attendees can connect with local resources, hear from experts, learn more about suicide prevention, and identify ways to support people who may be struggling. This town hall will feature an on-site resource fair as well as prevention education and training to reduce stigma and make life-saving resources easier to access.
