United Way Broward Announces 2026 Request for Applications (RFA)

United Way Broward is pleased to announce the release of a Request for Applications (RFA) in the areas of Behavioral Health Prevention, Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity. United Way Broward will accept applications from agencies that have been determined by the Internal Revenue Service to be categorized as organizations for a charitable cause—most commonly referred to as 501(c)(3) organizations.

Funds will be awarded for FY2026/2027, beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027, with the possibility of renewal for two additional years.

Release of RFA: January 6, 2026

Deadline for Application Submission: February 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. EST

Three (3) Request for Application Workshops will be held on January 13th, 2026, and January 14th, 2026: 
January 13th, 2026: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – for Healthy Community Applicants Join the meeting now
January 13th, 2026: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. – for Behavioral Health Prevention Applicants Join the meeting now
January 14th, 2026: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – for Youth Opportunity Applicants Join the meeting now

 

Prior to attending the Workshop, we encourage you to review the Request for Application information, Frequently Asked Questions, and any accompanying documents for each available RFA. 
Questions regarding applications and the application process may be submitted via email until January 16th, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. All responses to questions will be posted on our website, by January 21st, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.  No questions will be accepted after January 16th, 2026 by 5:00 p.m.
